Andrew's yard staff are all dedicated racing professionals with many years experience in racing. They provide excellent care to all of their horses and ensure that horse welfare is always paramount.
They currently have nearly 60 horses in training. In the short period of time since moving to Conkwell, the horses have produced 25 winners and countless places.
One of the horses demonstrating Andrew's abilities as a trainer, is Mafaheem. He has won 4 races since he joined the yard in January 2008. His previous trainer had told the owners that there was no more that could be done with the horse, as he had "bad legs".
Kings topic was another example of Andrews ability to pick a good horse with a very small budget. He has won 3 times and been second twice from 6 starts. Not a bad record for the owners.
Generous Lad, was struggling with his form before coming to Andrew's yard. Since then he has gone on to win at Kempton and Lingfield. Out of 23 runs with Andrew, he has been in the first four placings 20 times!
Other horses to note include:
Seneschal - Consistent performer, who can be slightly quirky in-running. In the last year and a half, he has won five races for the team.
Miss Bootylishes - Purchased by Andrew with a very small budget. She won on her debut as a 2yo, the first flat win for her owners. Since then, she has gone on to run in listed company.
Black Moma - On the way back up the handicap since joining the yard. This speedy 4yo has won once for the yard and looks sure to score again.
